Michael J. Thomasino, DMD is the founder, owner and operator of dental offices throughout North Florida.  His practices offer a range of services including complete, cosmetic and emergency dental care and are located on the Northside, Central and Westside areas of Greater Jacksonville.  Sunrise Emergency & Family Dental Care is the latest addition to his family of practices with the objective to serve comprehensive dental needs, including but not limited to Preventative, Restorative and Cosmetic procedures.

In 2006, he opened Jacksonville Emergency Dental, the city’s first acute dental care center, dedicated to treat the growing need with two locations.  Dr. Thomasino has built a trusted reputation by providing convenient, quality, friendly and affordable dental services to his patients.  Now, Sunrise Emergency & Family Dental Care, will offer complete dental services, cosmetic procedures and emergency care with an expert team of professionals ready to serve.  

Dr. Thomasino has been in practice since 2003 and is a graduate of The College of Dentistry from the University of Florida, where he also completed his undergraduate studies.  He has stayed very active in the dental community by serving as President of The Jacksonville Dental Society, participating annually in “Give Kids A Smile” and is an active member of the ADA and FDA.  He is also a faculty volunteer for the UF Oral Surgery Clinic in Gainesville and has been on multiple UF mission trips to countries like Haiti and Jamaica to help patients in need.  Dr. Thomasino has proudly called the First Coast home for most of his life and now resides in St. Johns County with his family.   

Jacksonville native, Michael A. Aaro, DMD has been with Jacksonville Emergency Dental for nearly 10 years, first as a dental assistant during his undergraduate studies at University of North Florida and now, as a Dentist following his graduation from LECOM School of Dental Medicine.  It’s safe to say he knows his way around the office here!  Dr. Aaro brings expert knowledge and experience to the patients at Jacksonville Emergency Dental.  He prides himself on providing fast, quality dental solutions at an affordable price to patients.

Dr. Aaro is well versed on surgical procedures including wisdom teeth extractions, as well as, dealing with complex dental emergencies. He is currently furthering his clinical studies with coursework on dental implants.  He has a calming demeanor and puts his patients at ease.

Dr. Aaro spends his free time volunteering for dental non-profit events like “Give Kids a Smile” and “Mission of Mercy.”  He is a devout Jacksonville Jaguar fan and recently married his soulmate.  He continues to explore what this great city has to offer and strives to be a great community member.

Dr. Frazier hails from the Midwest where he attended Indiana University and earned his Dental Degree from the School of Dentistry. He and his wife moved to the Jacksonville area when she was assigned to the naval station at Mayport as a Physician.  Upon meeting Dr. Thomasino, Dr. Frazier joined the JED team three years ago with great enthusiasm and a level of care that leaves patients nothing short of extremely satisfied. He primarily practices at the Northside location Monday – Friday. 

When Dr. Frazier is not practicing, he enjoys spending quality time with his wife and son.  He also has an affinity for adventure. He has climbed Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania and closely follows the space program with hopes that in our lifetime, space travel will become a reality.

Dr. Joshua Blimbaum was born in Toronto but moved to Fort Lauderdale young, so he considers south Florida his home. He attended Nova Southeastern University for undergraduate school, where he earned his bachelor's degree in biology. He also earned Doctor of Medicine in dentistry from Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Blimbaum furthers his education by continuing education courses on specific dental topics such as Invisalign, oral surgery, and endodontics.
